Mentoring Program Signup
Sign-ups for the 2026-2027 NWEA/Nebraska Section AWWA Mentor Program are now open! This program connects students interested in the civil and environmental engineering fields with professionals in the water industry. It is designed to support students in their academic journeys, offer insights into career paths, and provide both personal and professional development opportunities.
Mentoring eligibility
Professional mentorship will be geared toward upper-division and graduate students, or for anyone who specifically requests a professional mentor. Student/peer mentorship will be open to the younger students or those wanting to learn more about a major in engineering.
Program expectations
Mentor/mentee pairs will meet four times throughout the academic year, with matches based on shared interests and professional goals, depending on the availability of students and mentors. If you have any questions, please reach out to Cameron Troia (camerontroia@embris.com).
