Wrap-Up

(Submitted by Chris New)

The Water For People Sporting Clay Event raised about $1,000 on September 9th at Oak Creek Sporting Club near Brainard, Nebraska. A total of 22 shooters dined on brats and chips at noon before taking the field on a nicely cool summer day.

Craig Manson (Olsson Associates) won first place and a $50 gift card to Cabela's. Tim Mundorf (Midwest Laboratories) and Andrew Ekstein (Lower Platte North NRD) tied for second, with $20 and $30 gift cards. The winning team was Lower Platte North NRD led by John Miyoshi.

Special thanks to Tim Mundorf of Midwest Labs who organized the event, our station sponsors, Electric Pump, HDR and Midwest Labs; HTM Sales and SGA Coating Consultants (TNEMEC) for donations and, of course, to our participants who did a fine job pulverizing the clay targets!
